Revenue Analyst

Big Picture Entertainment, an award-winning entertainment marketing agency, seeks a Revenue Analyst to join the team. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, and detail-oriented with a growth mindset. This position offers the opportunity to master business management and financial analysis, working to improve operations while serving as the focal point for revenue generation. Working remotely or in the office is at the discretion of the candidate. Responsibilities: Own the revenue workstream: review related data, create PORs/invoices, and collect/project receivablesRepresent the company as the revenue stakeholder both internally with employees as well as externally with clientsManage monthly revenue recognition accounting processes and journal entriesCreate projections for bids to clients, analyzing and prescreening for profitabilityClosely track project P&Ls and provide recommendations to drive business improvement·      Perform business analyses to monitor company health and progress toward financial goalsRun sales commission reports and calculate resulting paymentsReview and sign statement of work agreements (SOWs), ensuring project’s billing status is proceeding as planned Qualifications: Some experience in accounts receivable, revenue recognition, or similar accounting preferredBS in accounting and/or finance strongly preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills requiredMust be able to work Pacific time zone hoursAdvertising or media experience a plusFluency in QuickBooks Online and ERP systems preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills with a keen sense of professional etiquetteOpen-minded approach that tackles issues outside area of expertise and is a collaborative team playerMust be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasksMust exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics; ability to be discrete and maintain confidential informationAble to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial dataEager to learn and grow professionally
