Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Trade Investment Management:Develop and implement trade investment strategies: design and execute global frameworks for trade investment that align with business objectives such as net sales, BOI, cash conversion and market share, ensuring consistency across the market while allowing flexibility for local market nuances.Optimize trade spend: lead initiatives to optimize trade spend ROI by analyzing performance, identifying trade terms drift, increasing conditionality, and reallocating resources to high-return opportunities.Data-Driven Decision MakingAnalytics Leadership: Support the development and deployment of advanced analytics tools to measure promotional and trade spend performance and ROI. This is one of the largest and most important programmes within SSP.Reporting and Dashboards: Oversee the creation of reporting systems to monitor trade investment effectiveness and ensure transparency.Revenue Growth Management Alignment:RGM integration: Ensure trade investment plans and RGM are seamlessly integrated with Zone and Brand plans, tailored by channel and Route-to-Market model.Promotional Effectiveness: establish and distribute promotional guidelines and evaluation methods through the RGM Capability platform, exchanging expertise and best practices with the broader regional and market RGM community.Capability Development: Execute training programs to elevate non-RGM teams around the tools and data to help them make and communicate great RGM thinkingCross-functional collaboration:Strategic Partnerships: Serve as a trusted business advisor and partner to The Head of TRM, Brand Leads, Zone Commercial HeadCustomer collaboration: Collaborate with account teams and key accounts to develop joint business plans that optimize trade spend and drive mutual margin.Governance and ComplianceCommercial Policy Development: Establish trade investment commercial policies in line with global expectations, ensuring adherence to Opella’s company standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.Audit and Control: Implement robust controls to mitigate trade risks or unauthorized promotions.
