The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking applications to fill a permanent AO4 Revenue Officer role in Brisbane.This vacancy exists within the Duties & Grants division, which is responsible for managing essential client services to support the delivery of $5.4B in duty revenue for the state including transfer duty assessments, administration of grants, registration and support to our self-assessor and approved agents, and compliance activities to manage revenue risks.The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking applications to fill a permanent AO4 Revenue Officer role in Brisbane.This vacancy exists within the Duties & Grants division, which is responsible for managing essential client services to support the delivery of $5.4B in duty revenue for the state including transfer duty assessments, administration of grants, registration and support to our self-assessor and approved agents, and compliance activities to manage revenue risks.As a Revenue Officer, you will analyse, interpret, and apply relevant legislation and policy on revenue and taxation matters; follow approved procedures, make assessments, approve grants, respond to technical enquiries, exercise delegations and coach team members to deliver excellent service to our clients.Your Typical Day As a Revenue Officer May Include Registering and assessing clients. Assist the team leader in supporting and coaching team members to ensure a client-centric approach. Analyse, interpret, and apply relevant legislation and policy. Answering client phone calls and responding to technical enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: High level interpersonal skills and strong client focus. Ability to build a working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems. Experience in contributing towards team outcomes.
