You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various rheumatic diseases, focusing on providing high-quality, patient-centered care that enhances the patient's overall well-being. Your expertise will be essential in developing tailored treatment plans and guiding patients through their healthcare journeys.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and ankylosing spondylitisDesign and implement individualized treatment plans that may involve medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists as appropriatePerform necessary procedures including, but not limited to, joint injections and aspirationEducate patients and their families about disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to improve their quality of lifeCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient careEngage in clinical research initiatives to advance the field of rheumatology and improve treatment methodologiesMaintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standardsFoster a supportive environment for patients and address their concerns with empathy and understandingRequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification in RheumatologyCurrent and unrestricted state medical licenseAt least 3 years of clinical experience in rheumatologyExtensive knowledge of rheumatologic diseases and their treatmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare teamCommitment to continuous professional development in the fieldFluent in English; proficiency in another language is a plusBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePaid Time OffTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus
