Risk Analyst - Counterparty/Collateral

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Risk Analyst IIIto join our client. Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convertPay Rate: Starting from $32 per hour Location: Toronto, ONLocation Type: Hybrid; currently onsite minimally (1 day per week), this may go to 4 days onsite come Spring 2026Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business HoursJob Responsibilities:Daily monitoring of client portfolios, issuing and receiving collateral calls to ensure the firms credit risk is mitigatedEnsure margin tickets are accurately entered into the collateral systemExtensive interaction with clientsEnsure process reviews are conducted in accordance with Global Short-term Markets PolicyResolution and escalation of collateral issuesReconciliation of repo collateral statements upon margining disputesContribute your own ideas to make a difference and add value to the groupOngoing, proactive risk management via staying abreast of risk issues in the capital markets and assessing impacts on our exposuresSeek opportunities to increase operational efficiency and lower operational risk through process reengineeringPerforming a number of control functions, ensuring the integrity of our processesEstablish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the BankExperience & Qualification Requirement:Minimum undergraduate, Post- graduate would be a nice to haveCFA/FRM would be a nice to haveMinimum 3 Years of Industry Experience in Couterparty/collateral risk analysisFixed income backgroundStrong excel skills- v-lookups, pivot tablesSettlements experience**** ALL CANDIDATES MUST COMPLETE A CRIMINAL AND CREDIT CHECK AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS **** ***We use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist with screening and assessment.
