Job Summary Control Governance – Ensure proper functioning of embedded and periodic controls through the implementation of Control Sample Testing. Risk Governance – To establish timely resolution or escalation of risk and issues related to CST, KCI & KRI exceptions. To record operational losses & near misses in M7 then assessing the risk and ensuring appropriate mitigating action is implemented. To monitor progress and track to closure for any actions due from audit issues. To assist Group R&C & Business Unit Head in implementing controls within the Business Unit to meet all regulatory (compliance) & internal policy requirements (OR & FCC) at Business Unit level. To identify control gaps or risk issues during implementation of day-to-day controls & periodic monitoring activities. Ensure Business Unit’s adherence to Group & Country DOIs.Job ResponsibilitiesREGULATORYEnsure compliance with the Laws of the land, implement and exercise local banking regulations, and build strong relationships with the Central Bank.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYWork closely with the IT dept in implementing new or improved software & automate manual processes.
