Main ResponsibilitiesThe accurate and efficient investigation all incidents / allegations of criminalactivity involving company customers and employeesThe accurate and efficient investigation all accidents resulting in injury,damage or loss involving company employeesCompile case dockets for each investigation, recording all relevantinformation, witnesses and securing evidence required for a criminal prosecution, disciplinary process or liability claimIdentify and recruit informers, to ensure effective information gathering within the region regarding criminal activity impacting on company customersProvide appropriate assistance to SAPS officials to ensure criminal prosecution of cases investigated on behalf of company customersAssist with customer meetings on investigationsMaintain te progress and update dockets on the Incident Database until finalizedExploit security and intelligence opportunities to develop innovative, qualityand cost effective improvements including participation in the identificationof suitable technology/equipment and servicesEnsure that all assets including assets of monetary value that was lostduring criminal activities and recover Firearms from South AFrican Policein cases that have been concludedAudit and Risk AssessmentManage all relevant Security Audits, ash Audits and Surveillance AuditsManage and follow-up on findings and recommendationsConduct Security Audits on a regular basis and ensuring that all findingsand recommendations are completedManage the distribution of findings/recommendationsEnsure that the Group Security Audits are followed up onAnalyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affect the businessComparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organisationsuch as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors andevaluating the organisations previous handling of risksOversee all aspects of security, including but not limited to alarms, accesscontrol, CCTV, police liaison perimeter control, fraud and internalmovementHealth and SafetyParticipate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation andmonitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each yearParticipate in safety forums created by company for example safetymeetings and safety talksReport all safety incidents to the relevant peopleDiscuss all safety incidents on all levelsFollow-up on any activities assigned through safetymeeting/committee/representative/managementAttend safety education and refresher programmesComply with safety policies and procedures at workplaceDistribute safety information as and when requiredWear protective clothing all the timeRequirementsGrade 12Driver's LicencePSIRA Grade BCIT CertificationMinimum 5 Years' Experience In InvestigationsSAPS Firearm Competency CertificateStatement of Results report from Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) or Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) for Firearm Competency with Business Purposes
