Join us as a Risk Market Data AnalystWe’ll look to you to take responsibility for market data processes, capturing and maintaining high quality market data and remediation work in relation to market and counterparty credit riskWorking directly with risk managers, you’ll determine suitable sources of data, and suitable proxies where no such source existsThis is an opportunity to gain exposure while assisting auditors in relation to market data and market data systems mattersWe're offering this role at senior analyst levelWhat you'll doAs a Risk Market Data Analyst, you’ll be completing the accurate and timely feed of data to make sure that correct risk is captured in the risk model in line with regulatory guidelines and regulations, while providing input for capital calculations and making sure correct market data methodologies are applied to all products.You’ll Also BeAssisting in the preparation of internal and regulatory weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, in relation to market dataProducing impact analysis reports following changes to market dataAssisting in requirements gathering for market data systems used within market and counterparty credit riskProviding input on the architecture of market data platforms, and methods of data deliveryMaintaining controls, risk assessment and assurance programmes, monitoring risk and controls to identify, access and manage any material risks which may ariseThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role, you’ll need the ability to grasp steep learning curves and a fundamental understanding of basic finance concepts. You’ll also need an understanding of value at risk or counterparty credit risk.In Addition, You’ll NeedAt least one year of relevant experienceMBA in finance is a mandatory qualificationChartered financial analyst and/or financial risk manager certifications are advantageous,Strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with other teamsExperience of working with and sourcing data from external data vendorsFamiliarity with relevant applications and softwareExperience of producing regulatory reports and interacting with auditors
