Shape the Future of Risk ReportingJoin a purpose-driven financial institution in Utrecht and take the lead in delivering clear, decision-ready reports for Risk Committees, the Executive Board, and Supervisory bodies.What You’ll DoAs a Risk Reporting Specialist within the Integrated Risk Reporting & Development team, you’ll play a key role in continuously improving the risk reporting process while contributing to essential management reports.In this senior position reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you will oversee the risk reporting framework and drive the integration of artificial intelligence solutions to enhance risk management processes. Your focus will be on ensuring robust risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making through innovative technology.Your Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Reporting: Design, implement, and enhance the risk reporting framework to deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive insights for senior management, regulators, and stakeholders.Automation & Dashboarding: Develop automated risk reporting processes and improve the presentation of management information using tools such as Power BI. Maintain and update the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) database.AI-Driven Risk Solutions: Lead the development and deployment of AI and advanced analytics tools to identify emerging risks, enhance predictive modelling, and automate risk monitoring (using Power BI, Python, Macros).Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all reporting activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. COREP, FINREP, BCBS 239, RDARR).Leadership & Mentoring: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of risk analysts, data analysts, and developers to foster innovation and high performance.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with risk, compliance, finance, IT, and business teams to align reporting with strategic objectives.Data Governance: Oversee data quality, integrity, and security for risk data and related applications.Continuous Improvement: Monitor KRIs and risk profile trends, suggesting technological and process improvements.Oversight: Manage reporting planning, dependencies with Finance and Risk stakeholders, and ensure adherence to the three lines of defense model.Annual Planning: Take ownership of the annual reporting plan for the Risk departments.Your ProfileYou bring a strong background in risk and/or regulatory reporting and can translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Data, or a related field5–8 years of relevant experience in risk reporting within financial institutionsStrong analytical, writing, and presentation skillsExperience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau)Proven project management and problem-solving skillsExperience driving change and innovationStrong stakeholder management capabilitiesExcellent communication skills in English and DutchProactive, structured, and accurate working style
