At Alten Netherlands, we are looking for Robotics Engineers to join our dynamic and innovative team!Your Role:As a Robotics Engineer at Alten, you will be involved in cutting-edge projects where you will design, develop, and integrate robotic solutions using the Robot Operating System (ROS). You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, contributing your expertise to real-world applications.Your main missions will be the following:Camera Integration on Robotic Arms • Designed and implemented secure camera mounts on large robotic arms. • Ensured optimal field of view and vibration resistance. • Collaborated with mechanical teams to maintain full arm mobility.Defect Detection Systems Development • Built image processing and sensor fusion solutions for fault detection. • Develop software and algorithms to control robots movement and their behaviour. • Developed and refined real-time computer vision algorithms. • Improved detection accuracy and operational efficiency.Robot Manufacturing and Assembly • Assembled and integrated robotic systems with high precision. • Ensured build quality aligned with engineering specifications. • Diagnosed and resolved mechanical and electrical issues.Testing and Optimization • Conducted performance tests on camera-equipped robotic arms. • Tuned system parameters for optimal detection and operation. • Validated system performance in real-world environments.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Robotics Engineer.Mandatory Skill: Strong hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)C++ and Python are appreciated.Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience.Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).What We Offer:A dynamic and supportive working environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development (cf: ALTEN academy).Competitive salary and benefits package.
