The Rock Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and managing ground control challenges, providing geotechnical support, and ensuring structural stability in mining operations. Daily responsibilities include designing excavation solutions, conducting site inspections, assessing geological and geotechnical data, and preparing reports and recommendations to ensure safety and productivity.QualificationsStrong expertise in rock mechanics, geotechnical analysis, and ground control methodsExperience in conducting soil and rock mass behavior analysis, and hazard identificationProficiency in mining methods, excavation design, and geotechnical softwareExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively and work in multidisciplinary teamsRelevant qualifications in Rock Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related fieldMust be in possession of Chamber of mines (Minerals Council) Rock Mechanics certificate.None to 3 years of experience required.Professional registration with a recognized institution is preferred
