Rotating Specialist

ResponsibilitiesReporting to PM & PdM Administration Supervisor.Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.Prepare daily work permit and close on expiration date.Experience for rotating equipment and reciprocating compressor troubleshooting using the state of art of condition monitoring techniques.Collect & analyze offline vibration data by using Portable data analyzer.Monitor and Analyze online vibration data by using online monitoring software like System-1, RecipCom, Prognost for continuous assessment of critical rotating equipment and reciprocating compressor.Diagnose equipment anomalies using vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography and prepare preliminary analysis report and share with PM & PdM Administration Supervisor.Experience of analysis advanced vibration plot data during steady state and transient events such as phase analysis, orbit, shaft centerline, bode plot, polar plot, etc.Perform other duties such as maintaining word records, data backup, history logs, review process parameters on daily basis on PHD trend.Carry out in-situ balancing for rotating equipment as required and witness shop rotor’s balancing.Follow-up on the results of recommendations as a quality control measure.Other duties as assigned by Condition Monitoring Supervisor.Actively participate in department meetings and facility teams relating to the improvement of the Reliability Team, plant safety, quality, innovation and efficiency.Train and knowledge share to new joiner of vibration Technician.QualificationsMechanical Engineering degree with +10 years’ experience for rotating equipment troubleshooting and condition monitoring.Certified machinery vibration analyst category III (ISO 18436-2) is mandatory.Certified oil analysis level I.Certified ultrasound level I & Thermography level I is advantage.Experience of Bently Nevada system 1 & Prognost.Experience with AMS Emerson vibration analysis software.Experience of UE 15000 and analysis software.
