Job Description

DescriptionWHAT YOU WILL DOWeekend Worship ServicesFull responsibility for weekend Jr. High and High School ministry programsProgram preparationRoom set-up and tear-downCreate a warm, inviting environment for students. Adult VolunteersEnlist, equip, empower, and encourage an adult volunteer teamSmall GroupsSteward a small group time centralized to the weekend programProvide pastoral care as neededEventsCreate a strategic event calendar containing 8 events a year (including centrally run Summer Camp)Team AspectsVarious campus responsibilities weeklyParticipate in the greater SSM team through monthly meetings and collaboration effortsMeet with Student Central Support TeamExperienceWHAT YOU HAVE DONEExperience working in student ministry. A bachelor's degree is desirable.

Proficient in the use of Google Workspace. QualitiesPassionate follower of JesusValues collaborationTeam playerPassionate about working with students (Grades 6-12)Able to multitask and handle shifting prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to lead, direct, coordinate, organize and follow throughWhat We OfferSaddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $25. 00-$26. 00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job.
