Safety Officer

With a reputation for craftsmanship and precision, we collaborate with top-tier contractors and designers to bring unique architectural visions to life.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Officer to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of policies and programsAdvise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measuresReview existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.Initiate and organize training of employees and executivesInspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthyRecord and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claimsPrepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper managementQualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in the field of workplace safety, including conducting regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health managementExperience with Accident Investigation and Safety TrainingSecurity expertise in implementing and maintaining safety protocolsStrong observational and analytical skills to assess risks and identify hazardsAbility to effectively communicate safety policies and foster a culture of safetyKnowledge of UAE safety regulations and compliance standardsBachelor’s degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related fieldsHaving a valid SARS (Safety Advisor Registration Scheme) and Trakhees EHS approval for Safety Officers is an additional advantage.
