The position will also develop and implement safety programs and policies that comply with all regulations.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct safety inspections and audits of all work areas, equipment, and procedures to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Develop and implement safety programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection checklists. Collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Stay updated on new safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Job Qualifications Educational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in engineering, occupational safety, or a related field. Alternatively, a diploma or technical certificate in Construction Safety training or Project HIRAC. Certifications:BOSH/COSH - Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training/Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training First Aid / CPR certification. Experience:Minimum 2 years experience in construction/project management roles. At least 2 years experience in hazardous activities involving working at heights, confined spaces, hotworks, electrical works, excavation and critical lifts. Knowledge of Standards:Familiarity with OSHA/ISO 45001 standards. Understanding of Permit to Work System and Task Risk Analysis.
