Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance Operation Services team in the capacity of: HEART Trainee - Provider ServicesMaintain Participating Health Care Providers’ records and updating Provider data.

In partnership with HEART/NSTA TRUST, Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking candidates for the School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) specially designed to bridge the gap between school and the world of work for recent school leavers. Our School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) is for school leavers between the ages of 17 to 23, who have six or more CXC or GCE passes including English Language and Mathematics.

In the SLTOP, trainees have the opportunity to work with Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited for up to one year, where they can fully acquaint themselves with the company’s daily operations in order to gain rich, immersive practical knowledge. Location: Kingston As HEART Trainee - Provider Services, You Will Obtain and upload participating health care providers’ current practising certificates to the Providers’ File on Shared Drive. Maintain a log of all Provider refunds on the Shared Drive. Research and input claim numbers, etc. , into the refund log. Send information to the Claims Department for reversal. Send payment to Cashiers.

Scan & Email monthly Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) capitation and eligibility reports to HMO providers. Scan and upload Provider Application and enrolment documents to Shared Drive. Input the Provider’s mobile and landline contact numbers onto GIAS. Research and input Provider TRN information from electronic files to GIAS. Assist with the collection and review of provider application documents. Assist with claims investigation. Perform any other job-related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? A minimum of six (6) subjects at the CXC (General Proficiency) or GCE (Ordinary) level, including English Language and Mathematics.

Effective communication (oral and written) skills. Good time management and human relations skills. Ability to type. Ability to work under pressure. Working knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
