These values shape both our technological innovations and our approach to creating meaningful career opportunities for our employees.What Does the Sales and Business Development Team Member Do at Farplas?Customer Management & Business DevelopmentMaintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing OEM and Tier-1 customers.Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with company strategy.Analyse customer needs and provide technical and commercial solutions.Support contract and price negotiations with customers.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer strategies to support business growth.RFQ & Quotation ManagementManage the full RFQ process — from receipt of inquiry to offer submission.Collect technical and cost inputs from internal departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality).Prepare cost breakdowns and quotation files accurately and on time.Follow up on submitted quotations and support commercial discussions.Track engineering changes and update pricing accordingly.Costing & ProfitabilityPerform product cost analysis, including materials, processes, tooling, and logistics.Support the development of competitive pricing strategies to achieve profitability targets.Conduct cost comparison and cost optimization studies.Provide financial input and cost simulations during new business evaluations.Prepare and support annual sales budgets, cost simulations, and profitability analyses for assigned customers and projects.Project & Internal CoordinationSupport new project launches and coordinate commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal capabilities.Initiate and track projects in internal systems (e.g., PLM, CRM, ERP).Prepare and present commercial reports, sales forecasts, and performance updates.What Are the Requirements for a Sales and Business Development Team Member at Farplas?Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent).At least 3 years of experience in sales within the automotive industry, supported by prior experience in project and/or product management.Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (metal forming, plastics, assembly, etc.).Hands-on experience in costing, quotation preparation, and project coordination.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customer-oriented mindset.Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Fluent in English (both written and spoken).Proficient in MS Office, and preferably experienced with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, PLM).Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.What Does the Recruitment Process Look Like?Submit Your ApplicationCompetency-Based InterviewAssessment ToolsReference CheckFinal Steps & OfferYou can explore all job and internship opportunities at Farplas via LinkedIn and Kariyer.net.If you share our passion and values, we look forward to meeting you,
