About the role: As a Sales Assistant, you will play an active role in supporting our commercial team and gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic world of container shipping and logistics. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the full sales cycle, from market analysis and customer relationship management to preparing quotations and commercial offers. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to daily sales activities, maintaining key customer data and assisting in communication between clients, agencies, and shipping lines. Through structured training and mentorship, you’ll develop a strong understanding of our services, market trends and commercial strategies, building a solid foundation for a successful career in sales and logistics. Key responsibilities: Support the sales team in their daily operations and help strengthen long-term customer relationships Learn and assist in the bidding and quotation process for containerized transport solutions Maintain and update the commercial database, including customer and prospect information, tariffs and volumes Monitor market trends and analyze competitors in the shipping and logistics industry Contribute to the preparation of commercial offers, sales campaigns and promotional materials Facilitate communication and coordination between customers, the agency and the shipping line Prepare regular reports and performance summaries on commercial activities Participate in internal training sessions to gain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services Qualifications: Completed or ongoing higher education, preferably in Economics, Maritime Transport, International Trade, or Logistics Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a practical and hands-on approach Good command of English (minimum level B2, both written and spoken) Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) A team-oriented attitude, with high attention to detail and a strong customer focus Additional information: Candidates with basic knowledge of transport and logistics will be given preference.
