With a strong focus on social impact, Relate combines creativity, purpose, and enterprise to build a more inclusive South Africa.We’re looking for a Sales Coordinator / Junior Account Manager who wants to join a purpose-driven team that values heart and hustle, someone organised, proactive, and excited by meaningful work. You’ll initially step in to provide maternity leave cover, managing daily orders and supporting existing customers. Over time, you’ll help strengthen relationships, grow accounts, and support strategic sales projects. This role is ideal for someone with sales and account management experience who wants to grow into a more senior relationship management role.Main Duties & Responsibilities Customer Support & Order ManagementManage day-to-day orders for Relate’s retail, corporate and beneficiary partners (excluding key accounts)Ensure accurate order processing and documentationProvide solutions-focused and responsive customer supportMaintain and update customer records on internal systems. Relationship Building & GrowthBuild strong relationships with smaller and mid-level customersIdentify growth opportunities with existing and new partnershipsSupport the CEO with key account activitiesTrack customer trends and identify untapped potential. Sales Operations & AdminMaintain CRM and align order timelines with productionCollaborate with marketing, finance, and production teamsSupport the team with sales reporting and campaign inputContribute creative ideas for product ranges or customer campaigns.Required Skills & ExperienceThe ideal applicant will have the following competencies: Work experience and industry exposureAtleast 2–4 years in sales, account management, or retail environmentsExperience in purpose-led or social impact businesses is a plusUnderstanding of the retail and/or tourism sectors an advantage Strong Communication and Interpersonal skillsFriendly, people-first communicator who enjoys building relationshipsAble to manage client expectations while maintaining professionalismConfident working across email, phone, and in-person contactEnergetic, proactive, and excited to learn. Excellent Administration and Organisational SkillsComfortable juggling administrative tasks and customer careDetail-oriented and deadline-drivenProficient in Excel, email platforms, and basic CRM toolsDigitally fluent and able to adapt to new tech tools.
