We develop innovative and durable technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our local and international partners.Our Business Development Department is growing, and we are in search for a colleague who will help us build business partnerships.Ensuring the development of his business unit, the Sales Development Manager will be in charge of the identification of opportunities and deployment in different domains.Responsibilities:Identifying business opportunities within new areas and industries to increase the client base;Researching the personal network of companies and individuals to find new business opportunities;Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Alten’s services, delivering tailored presentations to potential clients;Being accountable for the technical and commercial proposal, negotiating the proposal and closing the deal;Interviewing and selecting consultants to provide specialized engineering services;Coordinating the consultants hired for specific projects;Managing and maximizing the availability of consultants within projects;Being in charge of the consultants` career evolution (annual review, training);Monitoring project’s profitability and client satisfaction.Required:Technical studies/University DegreePrevious experience in business development or sales would be an advantageStrong negotiating skills and attention to detail so all sales opportunities are explored and capitalized;Able to plan and prioritize workload to ensure objectives are achieved on timeResults driven and pro-active attitude that facilitates the creation of lasting relationships with prospect clientsSuccess will depend on entrepreneurial spirit and profound understanding of the industry sectorEnglish is requiredFrench is a plus
