The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.As a Sales Development Representative, you will assist in generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and creating the pipeline for the growing business in the region. Furthermore, our modern, online learning platform teaches in-demand skills that can benefit all employees.What You'll Do:Qualify and develop inbound sales leadsRun campaigns to generate new sales prospectsComplete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in our CRM toolWork with the Account Executive team to design industry-specific outbound efforts and define the best strategy to approach new leadsSchedule demonstrations between account executives and potential customersUse the best social selling techniques to identify sales leads and be able to prospect into themManage a high volume of calls with decision makers to identify the "pain" which could be addressed by LinkedIn's business solutionsResponsible for the majority of the Account Executive pipelineQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Undergraduate university degree and 1+ year of experience in a metrics-driven sales or client-facing roleIf no undergraduate university degree, 3+ years of experience in a metrics-driven sales or client-facing roleBusiness fluency in English and Mandarin due to client needsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platformsExpert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and telephone skillsAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervisionAbility to analyze business opportunities and read situations wellAbility to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade othersAbility to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, startup environmentSuggested Skills:CommunicationCollaborationPlanningStakeholder ManagementGrowth MindsetAdditional InformationGlobal Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates Please follow this link to access the document that provides transparency around the way in which LinkedIn handles personal data of employees and job applicants: https://legal.linkedin.com/candidate-portal.
