This is a team that moves fast, holds a high bar, and sees every outbound conversation as an opportunity to unlock value.About The RoleAs a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Beam, your job is to open doors. You'll lead our outbound motion, prospecting high‐quality leads, sparking interest through cold outreach, and qualifying opportunities that drive real revenue. You'll work hand‑in‑hand with Account Executives to ensure every handoff is sharp, relevant, and demo‑ready.This isn't a script‑following role. We're looking for someone who's curious, coachable, analytical, and someone who brings grit, hunger, and a willingness to go the extra mile. You'll step in as a key individual contributor, owning your pipeline and making things happen. If you thrive in fast‑moving environments and want to help shape the future of AI sales, you'll feel right at home.We offer a competitive compensation package including base salary, performance-based variable pay, and equity.Responsibilities Own top‑of‑funnel outreach, generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email, social selling, and creative outbound campaigns. Conduct structured discovery to qualify leads based on need, use‑case fit, authority, timeline, and budget. Book qualified demos and ensure clean handoff to Account Executives through Beam's defined SOP. Manage inbound interest and ensure every lead is routed, responded to, and recorded accurately in HubSpot. Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, test sequences, and provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness. Track KPIs including outreach volume, demo conversions, pipeline sourced, and engagement rates. Maintain CRM hygiene, log all activities and keep records current and actionable. Continuously improve through coaching, call reviews, and performance analysis. Represent Beam with clarity, curiosity, and professionalism in every interaction.
