The Sales Director will play a critical role in expanding our reach, driving revenue, and leading the commercial success of our technology products.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Business GrowthDevelop and execute data-driven sales strategies aligned with Ashewa’s tech-driven business objectives.Lead regional and product-focused sales teams to deliver consistent revenue growth.Align sales initiatives with product development, marketing campaigns, and customer success programs.Contribute to long-term go-to-market planning for new software and digital services.2. Technology Product Sales & Market ExpansionDrive adoption of Ashewa’s digital products (e-commerce, ERP, software solutions, and digital services).Translate technical product features into clear business value propositions for clients.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback that enhances product usability and performance.Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, resellers, and B2B partners in the tech sector.3. Sales Operations & Performance ManagementDevelop performance dashboards and use CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to monitor pipeline and conversion rates.Implement digital sales tools and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Oversee accurate forecasting, sales analytics, and reporting to senior management.Support digital transformation initiatives within the sales function using technology-driven methodologies.4. Market Intelligence & Competitive PositioningStay ahead of trends in technology, SaaS, and digital commerce to inform strategic positioning.Analyze market data, customer insights, and competitor activities to guide product strategy and pricing.Identify emerging opportunities in enterprise solutions, fintech, and B2B digital markets.5. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align market messaging and customer acquisition strategies.Support marketing in developing technical content, demos, and case studies that resonate with clients.Collaborate with operations and finance teams to optimize sales processes and ensure profitability.6. Leadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, mentor, and lead a team of sales managers and account executives.Build a high-performance culture focused on technology knowledge, customer satisfaction, and innovation.Provide continuous training on product knowledge, software sales methodologies, and digital tools.Tech-Related Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of software, SaaS, cloud computing, ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, and digital services.Ability to interpret technical product features and communicate them effectively to non-technical clients.Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and data analytics dashboards.Experience using platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Asana, or Jira for team collaboration.Strong digital literacy with awareness of SEO, SEM, digital marketing funnels, and online lead generation.Proven ability to manage tech-based sales pipelines, enterprise accounts, and channel partnerships.Analytical mindset, able to use tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau for sales reporting and insight generation.Qualifications & Experience8–12 years of experience in technology sales, software solutions, or digital business leadership.Proven track record in managing large sales teams and achieving high-value targets.Background in B2B tech sales, SaaS, ERP, or IT services is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
