We have never been afraid to push forward and navigate the best paths for our clients and patients.As the Sales Education Manager – Trauma & Extremities, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of impactful education programs for our commercial teams across Europe. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, product managers, sales leaders, and marketing partners to build technical and procedural fluency across a complex and evolving portfolio. This role combines deep clinical understanding, strategic thinking, marketing and communication skills, and hands-on program management to ensure our field force is trained to win in the operating room and the marketplace.Responsibilities:Education Strategy & Program DesignDevelop and execute the sales education strategy aligned with business goals and product priorities.Design comprehensive education programs focused on procedural, technical, and commercial excellence.Evaluate industry benchmarks, sales methodologies, and learner needs to continuously evolve training programs.Clinical & Procedural ExpertiseDemonstrate a strong understanding of trauma and extremities procedures, surgical workflows, and technical product details.Integrate clinical rationale and evidence-based practice into sales training curricula.Partner with internal medical teams and external experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.Faculty & Customer CollaborationIdentify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to co-create and deliver training programs.Manage contracts with HCPs/HCOs, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.Facilitate alignment between customer-led education programs and internal business objectives.Training Delivery & PlatformsDeliver training using a blended approach: live workshops, digital modules, simulations, and virtual learning environments.Identify and implement innovative learning platforms to enhance accessibility and learner engagement.Partner with internal communications and marketing teams to deploy content across the most effective channels.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project ManagementLead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support product launches, sales readiness, and clinical education.Coordinate with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Clinical to ensure alignment across teams.Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.Performance Measurement & OptimizationDefine KPIs, learning objectives, and feedback tools to measure effectiveness of sales education programs.Analyze learner data and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.Stay ahead of market trends and evolving sales needs to anticipate future training demands.Strategic Planning & Budget ManagementParticipate in annual planning and budget cycles with ownership of education-related investments.Collaborate with Finance and leadership to prioritize spend and manage programs in alignment with P&L requirements.What do you need?8+ years of work experience required5+ years in medical devicesPrior experience as a Sales Education Manager - with experience of identifying the program, measuring impact and innovating based on customer needs/feedbackPassion for educationStrong knowledge of orthopedic trauma and extremities is highly preferredProven ability to develop and execute training programs with measurable business impactExcellent presentation and interpersonal communications skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelinesAbility to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authorityMust be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policiesDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Fluent in English.What do we offer in return?Ability to discover your strengths, follow your passion and own your own careerIn-house product training programQuality products that improve the lives of customers and patientsA winning team driven to achieve our mission and deliver remarkable resultsCo-workers committed to achieving more and winning the right wayOur benefits include bonuses; commissions; healthcare; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; onsite gyms and restaurants; discount purchase programs; and service and performance awards – not to mention various social and recreational activities.In line with the requirements of the role, you will also receive a mobile phone, iPad, laptop, and company car or car allowance.Who Is StrykerStryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and together with our customers, we are driven to make healthcare better.
