In this pivotal role, you will provide customers and partners with presales consultation, solution advice, and hands-on assistance to understand the business problem and propose effective designs and solutions. Collaborating closely with sales, channel and cross-functional teams, you will lead high-touch presales technical engagements – proactively identifying and addressing customer pain points and driving impactful solutions that make a difference. At Infoblox, you will be able to thrive in a unique work environment that emphasizes career growth, excellence, innovation, and collaboration.Be a Contributor - What You’ll DoUnderstand the customer’s business drivers and how to map these to an Infoblox solutionProvide technical leadership in the requirements discovery, solution development, and solution proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycleTechnically qualify opportunities and PoV evaluation with end-user accounts and partnersHelp train distributors and partners to allow them to position, sell, and conduct PoC of Infoblox solutionsWork in conjunction with the sales teams to achieve and exceed assigned quarterly revenue targets and related Sales Engineering KPIsContinually monitor, assess, and report the competitive situation and market development in the regionProvide regular and timely updates to account plans and opportunity updates, including the creation and submission of solution designsWhere required, act as the single point of contact to the customer on all technical issues focusing on customer satisfactionBe Prepared - What You BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent3-5+ years of experience working in technical sales or presales in IT security and networking businessKnowledge of cloud, virtualization, SD-WAN, network security, threat intelligence solutions and landscapeUnderstanding of TCP IP stack and networking principlesGood verbal and written communication skillsEngaged, positive attitude with the ability to prioritize in demanding environmentAbility to create solutions to creatively address customer value chain and business requirementsComfortable working in a start-up environment and the willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job doneBe Successful - Your PathFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.Six Months: Work autonomously in sales engagement and technical discussion, conducting PoC/PoV independently, and use functional teams to provide additional support.One Year: Own your domain, mentor the next newcomer, create and recommend new product features and enhancements, speaking in webinars, marketing events and/or writing blogs, and meet or exceed your annual targets.Belong— Your CommunityOur culture thrives on inclusion, rewarding the bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity that move us forward.
