Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:An exciting opportunity for a salesperson to join our ever-growing team.The successful candidate will identify new business development opportunities, develop and maintain existing relationships, in order to enhance revenue and profitability.You will actively participate in the strategic planning for the business overall and communicate the strategy with your line manager.Key responsibilities: ● Develop sales plans to introduce products in new markets● Represent product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. ● Convey customer requirements to Sales Manager ● Travel throughout sales territory for prospecting ● Meet regular sales targets ● Record and maintain client contact data● Search for the new potential projects . ● Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate how a product will meet client needs ● Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts● Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments● Propose training need to Sales Manager for continued professional and personal development● Calculate and prepare proposals . ● Maintain confidentiality of pricelist, commercial information of various products, service manuals and other documents pertaining to products ● Write various reports as required by the Sales Manager● Offer after-sales support services ● Solve client problems regarding the product● Guarantee that customers maintains good credit standing● Guarantee that all documents needed to complete sales process are in place● Understand and comply in full with the Accounts Receivable policy of the company ● Attend division monthly or weekly sales meeting● Attend product and professional development training● Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events● Conduct other business-related duties as assigned and required by the Sales Manager Skills and Experience:● Engineering Degree in Mechanical , similar degree Or NDT qualification ● Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs● Conversant in English and competent to correspond effectively● Effective presentation and negotiation skills ● Extensive and relevant sales and negotiation skills● Strategic thinking with the ability to link strategy to operations● Strong communication skills both written and verbal● Be motivated, self-driven and passionate● Results orientated● NDT market knowledge is desirable .
