Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesSales Performance & Revenue GenerationResearch and develop new business leads to maintain a robust sales pipeline across Turkish marketsAchieve and exceed individual sales revenue targets within established timelinesMaintain consistent weekly activity levels including prospecting calls, client meetings, and follow-upsMonitor and enhance exhibitor satisfaction levels through proactive account managementProvide timely and accurate reporting of sales results and activitiesMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesRevenue AchievementMeet and exceed assigned revenue targets for designated products and events according to the strategic sales planDrive new business acquisition through prompt, professional responses to incoming inquiriesBuild and maintain strong, long-term client relationships across TurkeyNew Business DevelopmentDevelop innovative revenue streams including sponsorship opportunities and non-traditional exhibition revenue sourcesConduct comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities in Turkish marketsGenerate qualified leads through strategic telephone outreach, industry networking, and targeted client meetingsProvide exceptional on-site account management to ensure superior exhibitor satisfactionCustomer Retention & GrowthExecute strategic account management for existing clients to maximize retention and satisfactionEnsure full compliance with exhibitor satisfaction guidelines and company standardsGather and analyze client feedback to develop improvement strategies and strengthen relationshipsIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accountsData Management & AnalysisMaintain accurate CRM data capture of all sales activities, calls, and client interactionsComplete comprehensive sales progress reports including revenue tracking, activity metrics, and pipeline analysisContinuously monitor Turkish market trends using online resources and industry intelligenceGather systematic customer feedback and competitive intelligenceAttend relevant competitor events and industry functions for market insightsStrategic CollaborationDemonstrate understanding of floor plan optimization and space allocation strategiesCollaborate effectively with operations, marketing, and finance teams to maximize client experienceSupport cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall event successQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent qualificationEssential RequirementsMinimum 3 years of B2B sales experience with proven track record of meeting/exceeding targetsFluency in Turkish and English (written and verbal communication)Highly self-motivated with strong drive for resultsProficiency in business software applications (CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite)Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical capabilitiesNumeracy skills for financial analysis and reportingPreferred QualificationsExhibition or events industry experienceKnowledge of Turkish business culture and market dynamicsExperience with international B2B salesUnderstanding of sponsorship and partnership developmentFamiliarity with trade show operations and logisticsKey CompetenciesResults-oriented mindset with entrepreneurial spiritCultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environmentsStrong negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to team objectivesAdaptability to fast-paced, dynamic work environmentThis role offers an excellent opportunity to drive business growth in the dynamic Turkish market while building meaningful client relationships in the exhibitions industry.Additional InformationIn support of the Turkish Governments initiative to increase the representation of disabled individuals in the workplace, we actively encourage and welcome applications from candidates that consider themselves to be disabled and/or are registered with ISKUR.We work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
