The Sales Manager - MICE reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy / Director of Conferences, Meetings & Banqueting.As Sales Manager - MICE, you will be responsible for the following duties: Ensures that appropriate efforts are expanded on the solicitation and development of corporate end-users, local, regional and international conference organizers and accounts defined in the assigned portfoliosKeeps a good record of top 20 top accounts from the above sectors and establish business development plans for such top eventsTo actively solicit new potential accounts within areas assignedTo be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accountsTo ensure MOKUL is a preferred hotel for major conferences in Kuala LumpurTo actively conduct site inspection for potential clientsEffectively operate and utilize the e-yield management systems and generate reports when requested and within the specified time periodTo effectively use all available sales toolsMaintains all client and event files according to the standards requiredAs Sales Manager - MICE, We Expect From YouDegree or Diploma in Hospitality ManagementMinimum 5 years of hotel experienceExperience in relevant market segment is essentialAble to liaise effectively with corporate, conference and travel accountsStrong business communication and selling skillsOur commitment to you Learning & Development.
