Job Title: Sales Manager Italy – Fashion SectorLocation: Milan, Italy (with regular travel across Italy and abroad)Company: GL events Group - Fashion DivisionReports to: Country Manager Italy, with functional reporting to the Fashion Division’s Commercial DirectorAbout the RoleGL events is a global leader in the event industry, and its Fashion Division includes two iconic brands: Première Vision, a prestigious and internationally recognized trade show for creative and high-quality fashion materials, and Tranoï, a curated platform for emerging and avant-garde designers.We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead the commercial development of the Italian exhibitor offer on our international fashion B2B trade shows. Based in Italy, the candidate will be responsible for expanding our Italian exhibitor offer, strengthening client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the fashion and textile ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow Italian exhibitor participation in Première Vision, Tranoï, and other fashion-related events.Identify and engage with key fashion brands, manufacturers, and suppliers across Italy.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.Collaborate closely with the marketing and communication teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and brand positioning.Provide market insights and feedback to the Fashion Division’s Commercial Director to support strategic decisions.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and market.Develop, enrich and qualify our Italian exhibitors database.Profile & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the textile and fashion sector.Strong network within the Italian fashion and textile sector.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset.Fluent in Italian and English (knowledge of French is a plus).Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and abroad.What We OfferA key role within a leading international event group.Opportunity to contribute to the growth of prestigious fashion trade shows.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
