ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing relationships with travel agents, wholesalers, and corporate clients. To work closely with the Area Director of Sales & Marketing to align sales strategies with hotel business goals, execute targeted action plans, and achieve monthly sales targets.Travel Agents & WholesalersManage relationships with both local and international travel agents and wholesalers, focusing on individual and group travel potential.Establish new accounts and nurture existing partnerships to drive business growth.Conduct daily sales activities including sales calls, contract follow-ups, group enquiries, hotel site visits, and client entertainment.Participate in ad hoc or promotional agent/ hotel events.Handle travel agent enquiries, group leads and series groups ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners.Provide timely and professional responses to all communications.Work closely with the operations team to ensure service excellence and with the revenue team to optimise hotel rates.Regularly review the travel trade account portfolio and present performance analysis and action plans to management.Achieve monthly sales targets aligned with the overall cluster budget.Maintain up-to-date sales control procedures and follow up on overdue payments.Corporate SalesGenerate new corporate sales leads and maintain strong relationship with existing clients through regular sales calls, site inspections and entertainment.Manage enquiries and coordinate communication between clients and hotel departments.Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate sales control documentation.Present Account Portfolio on a regular basis and analysis on performance of each account.Oversee corporate meetings, banquets, and both residential and non-residential group bookings.Provide strategic Sales & Marketing strategic insights to management, including: Acquisition of new accounts, Loss of existing accounts and recovery strategies, Client complaints and corrective actions, Competitor activities and market trends, Weekly, monthly, and cumulative sales statistics.Submit weekly reports including Sales Call Plan, Sales Call Summary, Achievements, and Activity logs.Familiarize with internal processes such as rate management approvals and credit applications.Maintain an updated client database including decision-makers, and key contacts.Prepare annual account management portfolio reports.Attend meetings and training sessions as required.Perform other duties as assigned by Management.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of sales experience in hospitality or a similar industry.Basic proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with international clients, partners, and internal teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Positive & driven attitude.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong business acumen and results-oriented mindset.Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
