The onboarding phase is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2026. The position is based in the Netherlands and can also be performed remotely.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for a dedicated Sales Manager to manage, further establish and develop our sales of chocolate and cocoa products in the Benelux region.We believe our ideal candidate has great knowledge and experience in the B2B food industry and a strong capability to identify and capture business opportunities and deliver excellent results.This role will be responsible for sales forecasting and developing the business in your region. It is also your responsibility that the goals for booking gross margin and volume are achieved. You establish annual business plans and prioritize and schedule your own activities, to ensure targets are met.As our Area Manager, you will educate customers about our products or services, prices and innovations. Promote and nurture relationships with current and potential customers.You understand how to build bridges between the various departments of a multinational organization (R&D, pricing, sales support, customer service, planning, logistics, sustainability, finance..).You will be located in the sales region; you will carry out visits throughout the territory entrusted.You will report to our Sales Director.ABOUT YOUDegree in Economics or food technology; or comparable experienceAt least 3-5 years of sales experienceTrack record of significant success in business development for key accountsBusiness understanding and market knowledge of the B2B food industry; knowledge of the chocolate and cocoa market is a plusEntrepreneurial spirit, driven and willing to go the extra mile, an active listener with good communication & influencing skills.You are also an active relationship builder and manager. Willingness to travel and visit customersCustomer-oriented mentality.
