The Sales Manager, Malaysia will lead sales efforts for the XRT division in Malaysia. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer and distributor relationships and developing strategic plans in conjunction with the Sales Director, SE Asia, to expand market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of inspection systems and a proven track record in systems sales.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the Regional General Managers and Senior Sales personnel, formulate and achieve an acceptable annual budget for Malaysia to maximize the sales bookings within the Nordson business systems framework. Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and distributors.In conjunction with the regional applications team, provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to prospective customers.Collaborate with Product Line Managers to align sales efforts with product launches.Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform growth and strategy.Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and pipeline updates.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and customer meetings.Ensure that sales tracking systems and all associated customer databases are at all times accurate and fully implemented.In conjunction with regional management, establish and maintain global contract agreements.Ensure the timely collection of receivables in accordance with the contractually agreed terms.Education & Experience RequirementAt least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in inspection, or capital equipmentDegree qualified in a scientific, engineering or business discipline or equivalentExperience in the semiconductor and/or the PCB manufacturing industriesExperience in X Ray, or related inspection or capital equipmentGood spoken and written English languageExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Preferred Skills & AbilitiesMicrosoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Knowledge of and experience with CRM systemsManagement skills focused on achieving the maximum efficiency of sales channelsAbility to close significant sales in a complex commercial and technical environmentFamiliarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance process.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to sales execution.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSOffice or Manufacturing environment.
