With a strong technical andcommercial foundation, we partner with innovative suppliers to serve customers across life sciences,industrial, and consumer markets.Job PurposeTo support the growth and development of the pharmaceutical business in the designated region bypromoting and selling IMCD’s portfolio of pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients. The Junior SalesManager will collaborate with customers and principals to provide technical support, manage existingaccounts, and drive new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Account ManagementSupport in managing a defined customer portfolio and actively grow sales with existingand new accounts.Assist in achieving sales targets and KPIs for the pharma segment.Prepare and follow up on customer quotations, contracts, and supply agreements.Customer & Market DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities in line with IMCD’s strategy.Support business development initiatives by conducting customer visits, productpresentations, and technical discussions.Collect and analyze market intelligence, customer needs, and competitor activity.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and principals, ensuring alignment with theirneeds and expectations.Supplier & Product CoordinationAct as a liaison between IMCD's principals and local customers.Ensure timely communication and follow-up on inquiries, samples, pricing, and productdocumentation.Stay updated on the technical features and benefits of the product portfolio.Internal CollaborationWork closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Marketing, RegulatoryAffairs, and Supply Chain.Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).Prepare monthly reports and contribute to sales forecasting and planning.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.3-5 years of relevant experience in pharma sales, technical sales, or B2B business developmentis a plus.Skills And CompetenciesGood understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and formulation ingredients.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commercial acumen and customer-oriented mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.Self-motivated, well-organized, and eager to learn.IMCD is an equal opportunity employer.
