INSURANCE SALES REPRESENTATIVEIn this role, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies, providing financial guidance and building long-term relationships with clients on behalf of Guardian Life of the Caribbean. Your goal is to help individuals and families protect their financial future through advice on risks and benefits and provide customized insurance solutions suitable to their needs. You are also required to maintain client records, issue quotes, and keep abreast of industry trends. Job Type: Full-time / Commission-BasedKey ResponsibilitiesProspecting and Relationship Management:

Source potential clients through referrals, networking, cold calling, and marketing campaigns, form relationships and engage in conversations to discuss, identify and analyze insurance needs. Maintain a portfolio of clients through ongoing service, relationship management, and periodic policy reviews. Insurance Product Knowledge: Explain various insurance policies and products to potential and existing clients, guiding them toward the best coverage for their needs. Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements. Needs Assessment and Customization:

Assess needs-based financial assessments to understand client goals, such as income protection, family security, retirement, and wealth transfer, and advise on the best policies, and customize insurance programs to suit individual clients. Deliver compelling sales presentations and explain policy features, terms, and benefits. Policy Administration: Issue quotes, maintain client records, prepare reports, and answer client questions about insurance plans and policies. Prepare and submit applications and documentation in compliance with underwriting guidelines. Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensure all activities comply with Trinidad and Tobago legal and industry laws and standards. Sales Performance:

Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. Attend regular training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews. Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of industry laws & regulations, trends, best practices, and new products. Candidate Profile & QualificationsPersons between the ages of 25 and 45 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus)Training at tertiary level would be an asset, i. e.
