Job Description

Job Purpose: Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives. Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive sales growth and meet dealership goals. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing guidance and support to team members.Responsibilities & Duties: Supervise, train, and motivate sales staff to improve performance and achieve sales targets. Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss goals, and address any issues. Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers. Implement strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business. Track and analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements and challenges. Implement corrective actions and strategies to address performance issues and improve results. Coordinate with other departments, such as finance, service, and marketing, to ensure smooth sales operations. Oversee the implementation of sales promotions, campaigns, and events to drive traffic and increase sales. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations. Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to stay informed about industry trends and developments. Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with the inventory team to manage vehicle stock levels and ensure availability aligns with sales requirements. Monitor inventory turnover and assist in planning for vehicle procurement and allocation. Handle administrative tasks related to sales, including processing orders, managing customer records, and maintaining sales documentation. Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales paperwork and transactions.Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading a sales team. Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and automotive industry trends.Competencies: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach. Understanding of the automotive market in Saudi Arabia, including market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
