Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Sales Support Analyst to support the sales team by delivering actionable insights, ensuring smooth execution of sales processes, and providing operational support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, sales data analysis, forecasting, and customer relationship management.This role is pivotal in bridging sales operations with data-driven decision-making to drive business growth and efficiency.What you’ll do:1. Sales Data Analysis & ReportingCollect, analyze, and interpret sales data from internal systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).Track and report on sales performance (by product, region, channel, customer, etc.).Create and maintain dashboards and performance reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly).Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decisions.Monitor KPIs such as volume, revenue, margin, market share, promotional ROI.2. Sales Forecasting & PlanningSupport the sales team in forecasting monthly/quarterly sales volumes.Assist in demand planning in collaboration with supply chain and marketing.Prepare sell-in and sell-out data analysis to support supply alignment.3. Sales Support & CoordinationPrepare sales presentations, proposals, and materials for management and distributors meetings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth execution of sales activities and sales reports data gathering.Support trade promotions and incentive schemes tracking.4. Customer & Trade SupportHandle inquiries from distributors, section heads, and sales supervisors.Support in data entry, and price list management.Assist in managing trade terms, rebates, and discounts.5. Process ImprovementRecommend improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.Automate repetitive tasks and reports where possible.Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting systems.What You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.MBA or advanced data analysis certification is a plus.2–5 years in a similar role within an FMCG or related industry.Experience in working with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.) and reporting tools.Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is highly desirable.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Familiarity with market data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) is a plus.You’ll love this job if you’re:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Team player with the ability to work independently.Results-oriented and proactive problem-solver.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accuracy and timeliness of reports and forecasts.Sales team satisfaction and support effectiveness.Promotion ROI analysis accuracy.Data quality and CRM/ERP data integrity.Efficiency improvements in sales processes.
