We are looking for our next Scrum Master – maybe it is you?We are part of Salling Group IT's organization and work based on Scrum principles with Jira as our work platform. We are a team consisting of 12 team members – all located at the head office in Brabrand. We are organized with system- and process people, product owner, solution architect and manager – but will need a new scrum master. The team has been working as a Scrum team for the past 3-4 years and it is today a natural way for us to work.
We are part of the Salling Group with brands such as Bilka, Føtex, Netto, Fætter BR, Rimi and more, and cover up to 70,000 employees in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. All of these colleagues must be supported by IT systems that handle contracts, workforce planning, internal communication platforms, learning and more.
At the same time, we focus on being up-to-date when it comes to IT systems, so that we can make everyday life as efficient as possible for managers and staff out in our many stores, which is why we are also part of several IT HR projects supported by project managers from our PMO. Your tasks will include: Facilitation of daily Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups), planning sessions, retrospectives, etc. Coordination with Product Owner and Solution Architect regarding business and technical needs.
As needed, act as a "business analyst" – and ensure that business needs are identified in accordance with an already established process, so that the results of the survey can form the framework for colleagues' further work. Participate in IT's "Scrum master community" with a view to continued development of our way of working within Scrum in Salling Group IT. Participate in IT's "Test ambassador community" on behalf of the team to ensure consistency in our way of testing. Collaboration with Line Manager, Product Owner and Solution Architect on the team's condition as well as development potential and needs.
Follow-up on budgets using external resources. To achieve success in the role, it is thought to: You have worked as a Scrum Master for a minimum of 3-5 years. You are proactive in your work and can enter into dialogue with colleagues – also outside your own team. You have experience with the use of Jira. You are prepared to catch a "ball" that you may not have tried to "play" before. You can reach out if you need help/support.
In our team, we emphasize that we help each other! Both in the event of an increased workload or if you do not have the skills for a task. We range widely in age diversity from approx. 28 – 68 years – with an average age of approx. 48. We are about 50/50 divided between women and men. We all want to deliver on our tasks in the right amount, quality, time and budget – but we also want to have a good time with each other.
There is the possibility of flexibility to work from other places, but we are all typically at the office in Brabrand 4-5 days a week. It creates unity, cohesion, you are a little closer to professional conversations – and it gives something to the social aspect of the team.
