As an Internal Communication Specialist you will be responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee and recruiting communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences. Reporting to the People Team Manager, the Specialist translates business strategies into key messages, develops appropriate internal communications initiatives and executes and drives programs that create excitement, drive engagement, align teams and shape culture. In this role your responsibilities will be: Helps create a best-in-class Internal Communication function across the company that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all offices.
Develops communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, Knox and other platforms, town halls, small group meetings, etc. ) to articulate key messages. Ensures communication messaging and materials are high quality, accurate, appropriate and integrated with firm priorities and themes. Uses internal tools as appropriate to maximize the company’s internal communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity. Planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriate.
Assists in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Professional Development, Human Resources and other programs and initiatives in support of firm goals and culture. Works with HR colleagues to create and maintain content for employee communication channels (Instagram, Facebook etc), and partners with the broader Marketing team to explores/recommends new channels or technologies where possible. Manages content for the internal communication pages, ensuring that it is up-to-date, engaging, and informative.
Implements metrics reports to measure effectiveness of internal communication channels and measures internal communications with the goal of continuously improving internal communications strategy to reach and engage employees. For this role you will need: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, letters, communications, marketing or a related field. 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar roleDemonstrated previous experience in writing and editing marketing content; experience with web and digital content preferred.
