Under the direction of the Director of Building Services and/or designee, will install, repair and maintain electronic equipment - servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic principles directly related to this trade. Requirements / QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. Four years of experience at the journey level in electronic repair; completion of a State recognized electronics training program. AS Degree in Electronic Technology desirable or any equivalent qualification or training which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Valid California driver's license.
NFPA 72, (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code). California Certified Fire/Life Safety Certification and/or NICET. Employee will need to obtain either certification within 12 months of hiring date. This position requires a valid Degree or valid equivalency established by an accredited institution/agency within the United States.
