SAP Basis Consultant – Trans Business for Trading & DistributionLocation: Head Office – GizaDepartment: Information TechnologyReports to: Application Division ManagerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a SAP Basis Consultant join our IT team and take responsibility for the administration, management, and optimization of our SAP systems and landscapes.This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of SAP environments while supporting business-critical operations and leading system upgrades, migrations, and day-to-day Basis activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.Handle transport management and ensure smooth change deployments.Administer and optimize SAP databases (HANA, SQL Server, etc.).Implement SAP security standards and ensure compliance with IT policies.Lead Basis-related activities in SAP implementation and upgrade projects.Collaborate with infrastructure teams for OS, storage, and network requirements.Maintain documentation and propose continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and HANA Database management.Familiar with Linux OS and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with monitoring tools and automation solutions.Strong communication, accountability, and teamwork skills.Relevant SAP certification is a plus.Why Join Us?At Trans Business for Trading & Distribution, we value innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.You’ll be part of a collaborative IT team working on cutting-edge SAP environments supporting a dynamic FMCG distribution business.Interested candidates can apply by sending their updated CV to:careers@transbusiness.com.egwith the subject line “SAP Basis Expert – Application”
