Job DescriptionSAP FICO Lead (Finance & Controlling)Job SummaryThe SAP FICO Lead is responsible for leading the Finance and Controlling (FICO) stream of SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role ensures that all finance-related modules — including Assets, Accruals, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Contract Accounting (FICA), Advanced Financial Closing, Parallel Accounting, and Dunning — are implemented successfully and aligned with both IFRS standards and KSA regulatory requirements.The FICO Lead will act as the primary point of contact for Finance process owners, auditors, and IT teams, ensuring robust financial operations, accurate reporting, and compliance throughout the program lifecycle.Key ProcessesCentral Assets & Accruals ManagementAsset Accounting (FI-AA)Accounts Payable (FI-AP)Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)Contract Accounting (FICA)Advanced Financial Closing (AFC)Parallel Accounting & Multi-GAAP ReportingCentralized Dunning & Collections ManagementGeneral Ledger (New GL) & Central Finance IntegrationFinancial Reporting & Compliance (IFRS, ZATCA, Local GAAP)Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) modulesManage Assets & Accruals processes, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and complianceOversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable operations, integrating with Procurement and SalesImplement Contract Accounting (FICA) for industry-specific billing and receivables scenariosLead the adoption of SAP Advanced Financial Closing for group-wide central closing processesEnsure Parallel Accounting setup to handle IFRS, KSA GAAP, and other reporting standardsOversee Centralized Dunning to optimize receivables managementWork with auditors and regulators to ensure financial controls and complianceProvide expertise in finance integration with MM, SD, HCM, and PS modulesCollaborate with business stakeholders to streamline closing processes and reduce manual effortSupport data migration for Finance objects (GL balances, vendor, customer, asset master data)Train and mentor the Finance team on SAP FICO functionalities and best practicesRequired Qualifications & SkillsEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information SystemsChartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferredSAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA FinanceExperience10+ years of Finance & Controlling experienceMinimum 2–3 full-cycle SAP FICO implementation projectsProven experience in Asset Accounting, AP, AR, FICA, and Financial ClosingExperience in Parallel Accounting (IFRS, Local GAAP, Tax)Strong exposure to Middle East/KSA finance regulations and complianceTechnical & Functional SkillsDeep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO)Knowledge of SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC)Experience in Contract Accounting (FICA) processesStrong integration knowledge across MM, SD, HCM, PSFamiliarity with Central Finance, Group Reporting, and DunningAbility to configure financial close automation and reportingStrong understanding of ZATCA (Saudi e-invoicing) and regulatory requirementsSoft SkillsExcellent leadership and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical mindsetEffective communicator with Finance leadership and auditorsAbility to work under pressure during month-end and year-end closeTeam player and mentor for Finance consultantsWork Environment & ConditionsBased in KSA, working closely with Finance & Accounting leadershipRegular interaction with business controllers, CFO office, and auditorsCoordination with Solution Architects, Procurement, and Technical teamsInvolvement in workshops, UAT, training, and cutover activitiesAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
