This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.Position title: SAP SCM iXp Intern – SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (APO/IBP)Location: São Leopoldo, BrazilProject scope and deliverablesThe intern will work as part of the SAP Product Support team, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving customer product issues. They will analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions through SAP Notes, Knowledge Base Articles, or configuration checks. They will also document solutions and create WIKI entries to support Knowledge Management initiatives. Expected outcomes include improving customer satisfaction, reducing customer effort, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The intern will also participate in e-learning, coaching sessions, and weekend or 24x7 support activities, contributing to continuous service improvement.Business impactThis work directly supports SAP customers by ensuring product reliability and quick issue resolution. By solving incidents and documenting solutions, the intern helps reduce downtime and improve the customer experience. Their work contributes to the organization’s vision of “Support Without Incidents” by sharing knowledge, promoting collaboration, and driving innovation. This creates meaningful value for SAP’s global support operations, ensuring customers receive consistent, high-quality technical assistance and helping SAP maintain its reputation for excellence in enterprise software support.Team environment and collaborationThe intern will be part of a small, collaborative, and multicultural team. They will work closely with other Support Engineers, Development, and Operations teams. Mentorship and coaching will be provided through regular learning sessions, training, and guidance from experienced colleagues. Collaboration is central to success in this role, interns are expected to communicate effectively, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture. They will also engage with global teams, participating in projects and interacting with customers worldwide to provide excellent support experiences.Learning opportunitiesThe intern will gain hands-on experience with SAP software and support processes used by major industries and governments worldwide. They will learn to use SAP tools such as ServiceNow, SAP Notes, and AI-powered systems, as well as enhance their skills in SQL, databases, and programming languages. Exposure to SAP business processes, especially in the Supply Chain area, will help them understand end-to-end system behavior. The intern will also develop key soft skills such as time management, analytical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving, preparing them for future career opportunities within SAP or similar enterprise environments.Additional contextThis internship offers a dynamic, global experience where the intern will meet and collaborate with professionals and customers from all around the world.
