Satair - Warehouse Operator

Job DescriptionThis job is based in Satair, if you want to know more about our business, please click here to find out more.Job ObjectivesTo pick and pack goods in order of priority and maintain location of parts in the Warehouse in accordance with Satair Operating Procedures.Job ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties.Conduct picking of orders in the correct priority sequence.Ensure all picking is confirmed in the system and paste the label on the parts correctly.Ensure all pick and pack system transactions are performed correctly.Ensure all documents printed are in order by sorting them before packing/box closure.Put stock away in the correct location after picking and/or packing.Comply to packing regulations for all Dangerous goods.Ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times.Endeavour to improve quality of work wherever possible.Inform the Manager/Team Leader of any process errors or system issues in a timely manner.Secondary ResponsibilitiesAssist the Warehouse Management with any reasonable adhoc request.To operate cross functionally across the Warehouse functions.To assist Receiving and other warehouse activities.Carry out stock checks when requested.Support continuous improvement initiativesPersonal & Interpersonal SkillsAbility to prioritise workSelf-starterAbility to speak up and provide constructive feedbackHaving the sense of urgencyConsistent in productivity and quality of workAble to work in a large teamJob RequirementsNitec with 2 years relevant experience.
