SAUR is responsible for the management of the integral water cycle in its entirety or in some of its phases. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to be based in Pafos, Cyprus, for a company specialized in water services market. Responsibilities: Developing appropriate operational, maintenance and calibration procedures, schedules and programs and establishing thorough monitoring, adjustment and control procedures for the Project Facilities. Monitoring, adjusting and controlling plant and associated facilities. Managing all material deliveries and receipts by scheduling and unloading/loading materials. Reporting efficiently by completing all required reports and logs.
Maintaining the instrumentation, electrical and mechanical components in good working order by assisting in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance programme. Supervising all preventive and corrective maintenance on the Project Facilities. 1Planning, scheduling, and directing maintenance of a wide variety of specialised mechanical and electrical equipment plus buildings, structures, and grounds. Co-ordinating and supervising the personnel and other resources required in the maintenance and repair of the Project Facilities. Evaluating maintenance policies and objectives. Requirements: Experience as Mechanical Engineer. Degree in a related fieldMechanical Assembly & maintenance – construction of mechanical devices, pumps, mixers, blowers, valves, gear motors, etc.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures in equipment and machinery. Machining Skills – operating machine tools. Understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and parts diagrams. Use of Measuring Tools - Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments. Hydraulics & Pneumatics – Maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Reporting – Preparation of reports, service monitoring, operation follow-up. Conditions: International environmentSalary conditions according to the role/ profile.
