Scan to BIM / Point Cloud Modeler

Company Description:GEOBIRO Ltd. is a surveying company based in Europe, with a branch in Alexandria, Egypt. We are the largest European laser scanning production company, offering services such as SCAN2BIM (Revit & ArchiCAD), SCAN2CAD (AutoCAD), point cloud registration (Leica Cyclone & Trimble Real Works), and other AEC services. Our company provides a wide range of geospatial services for Surveying & AEC businesses worldwide. We currently have 15+ employees in Alexandria and are looking to expand our team. Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Scan to BIM Modeler at GEOBIRO Engineering Services in our office in Alexandria, Egypt. The role involves daily tasks such as creating as built BIM models from point clouds scan, and working on architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) as built etc.Duties and Responsibilities:·      Responsible for creating and developing accurate as build models and drawings using Revit and point cloud data.·      Implement and follow BIM standards, internal work scope and project guidelines.·      Coordinate and collaborate with the team and project manager any related issues of the project.·      Update models to reflect client requirements or site changes.·      Ensure deliverables are issued on time and meet the quality control standards and project requirements.·      Troubleshoot modeling issues and resolve all QC reports.Qualifications:·      Must be able to work from our Alexandria office (on-site position).·      Experience with point cloud modelling.·      Experience with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Recap).·      Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and construction drawings.·      Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or any related field.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply if you have the following:1.      0-3 years of experience in BIM modelling from point clouds.2.      Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction details.3.      Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.4.      Ability to create Revit families.Senior applicants must have the following:1.      Over 3 years of experience in BIM field with at least 1 year with point clouds modelling.2.      Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.3.      Proven experience in managing teams and handling large-scale projects.4.      Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.5.      Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.6.      Ability to create complex Revit families, create Revit files and templates, and troubleshoot Revit errors.
