Job Title: Windows Imaging Engineer         Work Location - Herzogenaurach (Germany), Need to work from office all working daysShift Requirement - 8 AM CET - 5 PM CET, (May be required to work on Weekend or overtime)Language Requirement – English Written & Spoken Fluent, German (Good to have) Role Summary:A highly skilled and experienced Windows Imaging L3 Lead to oversee and manage the end-to-end Windows imaging lifecycle. This role involves leading the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Windows OS images across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Windows OS, imaging tools, automation, and endpoint management, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:Imaging: Create Windows 10/11 images.•        Testing/Certifying new hardware models.•        OS deployment using SCCM, Boot Media and PXE.•        Create/Manage Kiosk Packages for Retail.•        Create maintain and troubleshoot OS deployment task sequences•        Managing Windows 10 clients using Intune/Co-Management•        Create custom PowerShell scripts for automation•        Helping local IT technicians (FSO) in Imaging issues•        Provide 3rd level support to the team in OSD/Imaging issues•        Driver package preparation and testing.•        Working with the customer on new technologies, to enhance the user experience on Windows devices.  Intune Administrator: ·      Implement and configure Microsoft Intune for Windows device and application management.·      Configure and manage Windows Autopilot profiles for automated device provisioning.·      Manage the enrollment and lifecycle of devices, ensuring proper configuration and compliance.·      Develop, implement, and manage device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and conditional access policies.·      Ensure all devices meet security and compliance requirements.·      Deploy, monitor, and manage applications through Intune.·      Package and deploy apps for Windows and mobile platforms.·      Ensure proper app configurations and user experience across various devices.·      Monitor and enforce security policies, including encryption, device lockdown, and antivirus configurations.·      Implement and manage identity and access management policies using Intune’s integration with Azure AD.·      Provide tier 2/3 support for Intune-related issues, collaborating with end users, IT support teams, and vendors.·      Troubleshoot and resolve device enrollment, configuration, and deployment issues.·      Investigate and resolve device compliance or security issues.·      Generate and review compliance reports, audit logs, and device status reports to ensure adherence to security protocols.·      Provide training and support to end-users and internal IT staff regarding Intune policies and features.·      Plan, Configure and implement windows upgrade for business and third party patching. SCCM Administrator: •        Create and manage software packages, applications, and deployment collections.•        Automate deployment of updates and software using task sequences.•        Deploy Windows Updates and third-party patches using WSUS integration.•        Monitor update compliance and troubleshoot failed deployments.•        Collect hardware and software inventory from client machines.•        Build custom reports using SQL and SSRS for compliance and auditing.•        Ensure clients are communicating properly with SCCM.•        Use client push installation and monitor client activity/status.•        Define and assign roles to SCCM users based on their responsibilities.•        Integrate SCCM with Intune (Co-Management) or Microsoft Defender.•        Use PowerShell scripting to automate routine SCCM tasks.•        Resolve deployment errors, client issues, and server-side problems.•        Root Cause Analysis•        Ticket Analysis Adhoc Tasks (Specific to Test lab)•        Working with the customer on new technologies, to enhance the end user experience on Windows devices.•        Any adhoc OS issue or Driver packages faced by HCL support Teams.•          Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.7+ years of experience in Windows imaging and deployment.Expertise in MDT, SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript).Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, drivers, and hardware compatibility.Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise networking.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-101, AZ-104, MS-500).Experience in managing global enterprise environments.Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools.JIRA & Service Now
