Job Title: Scientific Literature & Systems SpecialistDuration: 12 MonthsShift: 1st Shift 9 am - 5 pmLocation: Fully RemotePay Rate: $43.47/Hour on W2 (Without benefits) Experience and Skills:Demonstrated proficiency in synthesizing scientific literature.Demonstrated proficiency in managing collections of scientific articles using structured systems, databases, or tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage and execute effectively across multiple projects with changing timelines.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.Experience using citation management tools (EndNote preferred).Primary ResponsibilitiesArticle Acquisition:Obtain copyright-compliant electronic scientific articles using designated Client resources.Manage and track the status of ordered and received articles.Provide periodic status updates on article ordering and fulfillment.Article Management:Upload electronic, copyright-compliant articles into the Client’s literature management system.Add article metadata (e.g., bibliographic details) following Client-provided templates.Conduct Literature Review Activities:Screen and review scientific literature based on Client inclusion/exclusion criteria.Extract and document relevant data from scientific articles in the Client database.Perform all tasks electronically using the literature management system.Quality Control (QC) of Third-Party Deliverables:Review third-party literature screening and review outputs for scientific accuracy and consistency with Client standards.Integrate QC results and Client feedback into third-party work products, as needed.Bibliography Development:Use Client databases and EndNote to build MS Word-based bibliographies for specific projects or topic areas.Create citation groups, generate reports, and combine metadata from multiple systems to meet Client style and formatting requirements.Other Literature Support (As Needed):Research missing abstracts or confirm article copyright permissions.Conduct metadata clean-up in Client databases.Participate in teleconferences or meetings to plan and discuss service status and deliverables.Top Skills Required:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Solid project management skills.
