This is a salaried Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period) with a Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5FPM schedule located in La Jolla. The Executive Health Business Development Specialist (BDS) is a sales position, responsible for patient volume at Scripps Center for Executive Health, including generating new and repeat business, corporate account management, and marketing support. The BDS responds to in-bound inquiries and generates his/her own organic leads through disciplined, self-directed outbound sales efforts. Through its front-line experience, this role participates in marketing strategy and marketing plan implementation: digital (paid, search, social), public relations, and direct mail.

Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills--both over the phone and in person-- and be comfortable speaking in front of C-Suite audience. Responsible for after-sale fulfillment and daily operation of automated customer relationship management system (CRM). Proficient in Windows-based programs as well as contact management systems (Goldmine). Reports monthly on all inquiries and sales leads with analysis and recommendations. This position is about cultivating long-term relationships with patients to ensure word-of-mouth and repeat business. Required QualificationsBachelor's in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related. 3 years direct to consumer sales. Preferred Qualifications3 years in healthcare/wellness.
