Facilitate Scrum events, promote continuous improvement, and act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.To be successful as a Scrum Master, you should have experience with:Experience as a full-time Scrum MasterProven experience working with teams in a large, scaled environment, ideally utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM) or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)Demonstrated ability to coach stakeholders and leadership through significant organizational change.Expert-level proficiency in Agile tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps) for reporting at both the team and program level.Some Other Highly Valued Skills May IncludeDirect experience participating in or leading PI Planning/Program-level events.Certified SAFe 5/6 Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent LeSS/Scrum@Scale certification.Advanced coaching certification (e.g., ICP-ACC, CSC) or PMP certification.Experience managing large, complex budgets related to Agile tooling or training initiatives.Experience customizing Jira workflows/boards for program-level visibility.The location of your role Is Northampton.Purpose of the roleFacilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. Facilitate Scrum events, promote continuous improvement, and act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.AccountabilitiesFacilitate Events: Facilitate events, as needed, and ensure that all events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timeboxSupport Iteration Execution: Ensure quality of ceremony artefacts and continuous customer value through iteration execution, maintain backlog refinement, and iterate on stakeholder feedbackOptimize Flow: Identify and facilitate the removal of conflict impacting team flow, utilizing metrics to empower the team to communicate effectively, making all work visible Mitigate Risks: Identify and escalate risks to remove impediments and shield the Squad from interruptionsBuild High-Performing Teams: Foster and coach Agile Team attributes and continuous improvement, encourage stakeholder collaboration, deputise ‘in the moment leadership’, and drive high-performing team attributesStakeholder Management: Facilitate stakeholder collaboration (e.g., business stakeholders, product teams, vendors) and build trust with stakeholdersGovernance and Reporting: Ensure data quality and provide representation at required governance forums, if applicable
