Introduction to the jobAre you an experienced Scrum Master who is eager to learn and apply Agile principles to help ASML expand its fast-growing business?ASML IT is working Agile according to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). All Agile teams are organized in Agile Release Trains (ARTs). The Identity & Access Management (IAM) ART is responsible for providing state-of-the-art and seamless IAM and Cryptography capabilities and services to the whole of ASML (globally). All teams within the ART work Agile and are moving into a DevOps way of working – you build it, you own it! The IAM ART consists of teams in the domains of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), Directory Services, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Cryptography Services (CS).This role involves working in close consultation with the Release Train Engineer and other Scrum Masters to improve the ART and guide the ART to a next level of agile maturity.Role And ResponsibilitiesAs Scrum Master, you are a servant leader with strong coaching skills and broad (scaled) Agile experience. You train and coach your team(s) on Scrum practices, facilitate Scrum events, and continuously stimulate your team(s) to improve toward being highly autonomous yet highly aligned. You will be helping your team and the ART reach new heights with regards to predictability, quality, and agile mindset – not only within the team, but across the ART.A grasp of what you can expect in this position:Build and maintain one or two Agile high-performing teams based on mutual respect, transparency, and recognition.Organize and facilitate Scrum events.Signal and remove impediments for the team.Help the team(s) stay focused on their run responsibilities as well as on the delivery of PI commitments as part of change.Stimulate automation of repetitive activities.Ensure coordination between teams within the ART.Ensure the team(s) follow guardrails and adhere to the definition of Done.Encourage the team(s) to take accountability for resolving technical issues.Drive continuous process and technical improvement by being the stimulating force behind the team(s) and individuals.Education And ExperienceA MSc. degree in Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent is preferred.5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile/SAFe environment.Multi-year experience in IT within a corporate organization.Knowledge and/or experience with Identity and Access Management is a plus.The possession of PSM/CSM I certification.PSM II or A-CSM is preferred.Agile and/or SAFe and other leadership certifications are preferred.A valid work permit for The Netherlands is a must.SkillsWorking in a complex and fast-evolving international environment, you are a self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
